Amy has worked with federal, state and territory government health departments, federal human services agencies, Primary Health Networks, Local Health Districts and research organisations.
Amy is an experienced consultant, evaluator, strategist and researcher.

​With over 25 years of experience in the health, aged care, and human services sectors, Amy’s career began with a pivotal decision to study nursing and then midwifery—choices that have shaped both her professional journey and approach to work. Her clinical career spanned Australian metropolitan cities and rural towns to the highlands of Papua New Guinea.
​
During this time, she moved into academia, completing a PhD evaluating the safety of different types of maternity units in Australia and New Zealand. Her research was driven by a commitment to equitable, accessible, and safe maternity services for all women, regardless of where they live and their personal circumstances - values that continue to underpin her work today.
With a passion for fast-paced, solution-focused work, Amy transitioned into leadership roles at local and global consulting firms and has never looked back.

When not engrossed in a workshop or evaluation framework, you will find Amy hanging out with her teenage kids, pounding the pavements and parks with her rescue dogs and mastering the art of working with plywood.
